Yes, I did.

Thanks for the prompt reply with the info.

Hit reply and saved it as draft.
Opened the reply in the Outbox and saw the smiley.

What's
imposes an extra chore on me, since I do enjoy reading
in RTV and seeing the smiley images. Lest I leave an important one out
in my quoting, I switch to PTV if I want to reply, and quote from a

Hello Mary,
But, everyone is at risk from being misquoted with this bug in
existence. You never know who will decide to quote from an RTV reading
of your post and perhaps omit your smiley. :(
Sometimes causing misunderstandings. :(
That's exactly the problem with this little bug.

MB I think this cause can be ruled out in the case of the random failure to

M Darn! I've just found out that it doesn't happen all the time. The line above
M is quoted fine, smiley included. However, see the quote below from a message
M from Mary Bull:
That's how I recognize him, too! That, and his distinctly
why some other people do not include smileys when quoting. As
an example, take mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] from
Tony Boom yesterday. He was replying to me and I noticed that, when
quoting me, the ;-) I had included in my message was not quoted.
Tony, if you read this, do you normally use RTV?
