Multiple message list tabs
Anyone else noticed that if you enable message list tabs, and create (say) a filter e.g. messages with attachments), then over time these tabs multiply and are displayed multiple times. I haven't identified the cause yet. Hello Stuart, I've created a message tab. Who do I have to kill to get it to display? You have to do this: View, Toolbars, Customise. Select Main menu on the top, go into the View menu on the right, highlight e.g. Folder tabs. Now, on the left select Mailer Forms, and look for Message list tabs. Press that Right arrow icon. Hello Maxim, [+] Tabs: d'n'd editing ability I see the new buttons instead of the toolbar on the Options, Preferences, Tabs pane, BUT: 1. Right click on the tabs on the main screen: Delete or Close. What is the difference between the two? None of them delete the item... Choosing one of them makes the tab disappear, but they are not really deleted, just unchecked. See the popup menu, so the fuction of Delete/Close could have been done by just unchecking any item in the popup menu... I suggest that simply take that two items (Delete/Close) out from that local menu... Deletion a tab can be done from Options, Preferences. Somebody misclick in this local menu and will be mad... He can uncheck any item here, if he wants, but should not be able to delete anything permanently. But this is just IMHO... 2. Options, Preferences, Tabs pane: if you have an Unread fast search tab there, it is impossible to delete that. Any other tab can be deleted. This particular one cannot. If you hit Delete on it, it disappears. But when you quit this window and go back, it still there, unchecked. I thought perhaps you meant the Preview Pane, which is enabled from The Bat!/View/Message auto-view setting. So I enabled that (it's not my preference; I normally use View Folder as my window) and I printed just fine from it. Also, as I reported to Maxim, I can print okay from the View Folder window. It's unfortunate that the IMAP tasks just continually hang there; I have abandon using the connection center because of this. And as another work-a-round for getting the IMAP pump primed again, I've found that selecting the account in the treelist and selecting 'syncronise all folders' from the context menu. When you dispatch mail on server the connection center comes up with two windows. The top window shows the activities of the accounts currently with connections. The bottom window shows what is going on. Because I have an IMAP account and it is always connected, the top listed connection is always the IMAP account and the focus is on this connection. Therefore the account I am checking is in the background, so to speak, and I do not see the progress indicator which is in the bottom pane. Should they not match? So, the only downside I and my users observed with FP different from hard printers: sometimes are missing pictures from web pages. Also, not all hard printer printed out those pages. Hello Stuart, Auto-filtering has stopped working on one of my IMAP accounts with this beta. Anyone else? It has not stopped working, it just seems to work intermittently. I don't see any real pattern. Also have pauses when selecting IMAP accounts, sometimes, that freeze the machine completely.
