Amongst other things, you'll need to create a template msg. Then
you apply it from a special AB set up just for the mass mailing.
It's pretty nifty. I would suggest experimenting with a few names
just to get the idea first.

know is a different OS. However, I'd like to point out that when I
disabled the CPU slow down/hibernate/auto-close down/nap ;-)
features, the problems went away.
You might try to disable those features & see if you can reproduce
the "bug" under those circumstances.

not selected as favorites (AB or in a group), I simply start a new
msg & use auto-complete with CTRL-+ & that seems pretty convenient,

ome duplicate names. Once I dumped it, the problem seemed to
disappear but I'm still testing.
I always thought that duplicate names in a single AB would cause
weird little problems like this to arise but it never occurred to me
that it would appear with duplicates in a *different* AB.
In the case of Allie, the greeting generated would be "Hi Allie"
because A Curtis Martin has a handle & (obviously) is listed in my
AB.

We all have little issues here & there as we would with
*any* piece of software, but my bet is, as a group, we'd rather see
that small band @ RIT Labs focus on v2 & all its promised to be,
rather than using valuable resources to fix what are generally

I copy the text & place it into an html document, reformat it as
necessary & upload to my site.

you correctly, you are suggesting creating a filter that assigns
them to this special folder & sends an auto-reply at the same time
-- a one step process.

this but my question is: which is better for my purposes: UNIX or
text? My current understanding is that UNIX format saves the headers
while text does not. If this is true, why might this important?
