I don't know what got into me. I went into my account properties and,
just to see what would happen, I changed my transport settings from POP3
to MAPI. Now The Bat! won't let me change back. What do I do?

Ever since I installed some Windows XP Automatic Update, it
automatically makes Outlook/Office the default client for mailto:
URLs. I have to change it manually every time I re-open The Bat!

I use Internet Explorer as my browser. I want The Bat! associated as
the default mailto: client when I click on a mailto: link. The
association doesn't "stick." I have to re-associate every time I
click on a mailto: link.

to do, if no one has a more elegant solution is make sure the two are
synchronised, make sure the desktop version has everything I want it
to have, then delete the accounts on the laptop and restore from
a desktop-version backup. Any better ideas?

I know that everyone says that The Bat! is essentially virus-proof. I
still have NAV scan everything that comes in. Is it necessary to have

Is it possible to automatically strip the HTML files from those
messages that come with HTML? I'm really only interested in plain
text, so I end up manually deleting them all the time. I figure that
this program does everything else, so it must be able to do this.

The charter.net connection is one of those "always on" things, so I
don't even know where to find it in Windows XP to make sure it's set as

I moved and have a new cable internet provider. When I try to check
mail with TB!, it wants do connect to my old ISP. I've changed the
SMTP server in Properties. What else do I do to get it to go to the
new provider?
