So is this a default behaviour, the backstage bar is meant to show
like this? This means that I can hide the bar in my space but not of
others that I visit. In tiddlyspot it is the other way, the bar is

Internet Explorer makes things look so ugly. No drop-shadows, no icons
no curvy corners. Plus on almost all tiddlyspace pages when you
mouseover the tiddler toolbar its gives an ugly pink color as
background. Is there a way around?

cardinal feature, the extensive tagging macro which display not simply
a list of tiddlers which are tagged with the current tiddler
(children) but also have other features like showing a description,
showing grandchildren etc.

All the dates can be suppressed using various plugins and changing the
viewtemplates.
The dates of creation and modification of the tiddlers and the
timeline tab itself, all can be made hidden. Would that work for you?

page is doing something unsafe , just allow it after selecting the

in the timeline or in shadowTiddlers tab click and open the StyleSheet
Tiddler.
Double click on the StyleSheet tiddler to go into Edit mode.

bit intimidated by anything technical. And Notestorm with all its

My suggestion is to simplifiy the interface as much as possible.
More white space, less larger headings,less dark colors in background.
Do away with tag cloud.
Try not mentioning the technical stuff, like the term 'Tag'. The top
horizontal menu should be more like traditional menu,
Gmail also has another great feature, 'conversation'. When several
people reply on the same mail it is bunched together.

tools. This I know for a fact just as all TW users know. In fact to
even mention the importance of tiddlytools seems like stating the
glaringly obvious.

There are still two questions though:
1. In the demo tiddler, when i remove a tag by clicking on it, it gets
added to the list below, which is fine. But when the very last tag is
removed two things happen, the list below gets expand
Check if this is occurring only when you are using your TW document or
does it happen with any long text on other web pages too. Try browsing
the tiddlytools site(which is quite a TW large site), does the browser
become generally slow and unresponsive when you browse through
tiddlers there?
