OpenOffice.org 3.0.0 (not the Ubuntu version)
I made a chart, it's that lines kind of thing (sorry for bad English). To
the right in the chart there is something that is called ”legent” when I
hover the mouse over it. It explains what the different line colour s stands
for.

this in other spreadsheets, you can make that function global. I think
there are a lot of information out there how to do that, so I won't

Just don't record macros. The only proper way to crate macros is to
write them by hand, since the built in macro recorder really sucks.
There is an alternate macro recorder to download somewhere, but I
don't think it's much better in this case.

Keyboard shortcuts can be saved to a file, and that file can be loaded
into the new version (this didn't work for some versions, though).

I am not sure, but I don't think things like ROW(1:12) is supported in
Calc. I remember many years ago when I, used to Excel, typed something
like ”=SUM(A:A)” (mening ”sum the entire A column”) in a cell. That
works with Excel, but didn't with Calc. Still today, I don't think

with it, the font listbox will still display that fonts name, but
another font is selected, hopefully a similar font.

Synaptic and see if it's still marked as installed.
OpenOffice.org use the system fonts, so everything that's installed in
the system SHOULD work in OpenOffice.org, as far as I know.

By the way, you don't need to say ”od*" format. You can say ODF (Open
Document Format) since it includes ods, odt and all
The macro recorder sucks, sorry to say that. Just don't use it. Just
type the commands manually instead. It's a bit of a learning curve,
but it's worth it.
If you know Basic, installing Xray will help you a lot to figure out
most of the objects you need.
