Well, i've just set up as a new ipod, and Itunes still won't see it. Am restoring back to yesterday's icloud backup now. Looks like i'm pretty much out of options, unless someone can think of something I haven't tried yet. At least I can still use the ipod for apps... On 5/20/16, rajmund

I don't know, because when I connect my ipod to itunes it immediately pops up the message about not being able to use the ipod because it requires a newer version of itunes. When I cancel out of the message, my ipod isn't even listed under sources, so it's like itunes doesn't even see it. On
