RE: Experience with Nest Thermostat app accessibility

2013-07-18 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Hi Ed,

I have 3 of the Radio Thermostat units and I am very happy with them. The
app is fully accessible, there are a few little qwerks, but nothing that's a
dealbreaker.

Please use the link at the end of any message and go to the list archive,
type Radio Thermostat in the search field and you will find some of the
discussions. I posted some very detailed reviews/descriptions about it.

Take care,
Sieghard

Hi Christopher,
I read about the Radio Thermostat and found it very interesting. I just
joined this list so I did not see any of the other post on this thermostat.
I do not have much vision left and was just wondering if this thermostat
will be accessible with the iphone? I will be getting an iphone soon so I am
just wondering about all this. Any info you can provide would be greatly
appreciated.

I know you're asking about the Nest, but I'm wondering if you've
already checked out the Radio Thermostats from
http://www.radiothermostat.com/control.html I don't have one myself,
but after hearing about it on this list, this is the thermostat I have
my eye on.

RE: Some Items Lost During A Backup/Restore

2013-07-18 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Hi Ed,

First of all, you can't install an app somebody else sends you, so even if
somebody had this app it would not work on your iPhone since all apps, paid
and free, are tied to your specific Apple Id.

I know this advice may come too late, but a backup is not the same as a
sync. Backing up your phone does not back up any music or really any content
for that matter. It backs up your settings which includes information about
which apps you had installed and what your home screen layout was. It will
also back up things like your Favorites, Text Messages and so on. I actually
like to use the encrypted backup option which requires you to set a password
and confirm the password before the backup starts. This backs up even more
settings such as WiFi passwords.

As for music, apps, documents etc. those you have to sync to your computer.
I assume you did not sync your apps? In the case of that Bluetooth app which
I assume is one of these apps which turn on or off Bluetooth with a single
tap that was lost because it's not on the app store any more so the only way
to preserve something like that is to sync your apps with iTunes in which
case a copy of the app is stored locally on your computer. This way you can
put apps back on your phone that are not even there any more.

Was the mmusic you lost bought from iTunes? If so you can redownload it. If
it was synced to your iPhone, then do you still have it on your computer?

Regards,

Sieghard

Subject: Some Items Lost During A Backup/Restore

Hi all,

Because of some problems I was having with my iPhone 5, Verizon replaced it
with a new unit. I created a backup of my original iPhone with iTunes and
then restored the backup to the new iPhone. I noticed that a number of
items did not restore to the new iPhone. Some documents I created using
purchased apps got lost, some music did not make it and I lost an app
entirely. To create the backup, I simply went to file devices backup. I
then connected the new iPhone and selected file devices restore. Did I
miss something? Any help is greatly appreciated. Oh yeah, the app I lost
is called Bluetooth X. It's one of my favorite and most used apps. I tried
to find it on the app store but it's no longer there. If anyone can suggest
a similar app or has a copy of Bluetooth X they could send me, I would
greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Take care,

Re: DocScanner Pro OCR app

2013-07-18 Thread Esther

Hi Anthony,

I'm in the US, and this app still shows up free for me, though I don't expect
it will be for much longer. It's a Free App of the Day selection. Did you
double tap on the link? There is an older DocScanner app by the same people,
and that app is not on sale. The one I linked was newly released on July 7,
2013, and was $6.99, currently free, version 1.0 of DocScanner Pro. Then there
is DocScanner: Scan Multipage Documents to Beautiful PDFs version 6.0.3 that
is $4.99 (iPhone and iPad) and DocScanner Classic version 5.1.2 for iPhone
only) that is $9.99. All those are different apps by the same developer, and
not free.

Cheers,

Esther

RE: DocScanner Pro OCR app

2013-07-18 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Hi Anthony,

You might have been looking at the wrong DocScanner app since there are 4 of
them and when I searched for DocScanner Pro SayText also came up I guess
because it's from the same developer.

I typed in DocScanner Pro and tapped search and it was the first search
result and it was still free just now. If you only type in DocScanner
without the Pro then DocScanner shows up as the first search result and it
is $4.99 and I believe it's their older app. There also is DocScanner
Classic which is even more at $9.99 and DocScanner Fast which is $2.99.

Hi Lisa and others.

Now I have got my aftershokz bluetooth headset, and it is a great
headset,

when you need to listen to a gps or taking a call while you are walking.

The only thing is to get them to fit on my little head, but ok it works.

Cheers Annie.

It depends. The volume of the phone call and voice over is still an
issue

for me. I try locking the screen as soon as I make a call because VO

elapsed. I've turned off speech completely and have had good results
with

that.

People can understand me just fine, but for me, the reception seems to
get

distorted and can fade in and out, and this is with the phone in my
pocket.

The same thing happens if I'm listening to a streaming music station,
though. I'm not sure why as the phone is right next to me. I can
start
walking while the phone is in my pocket and the music breaks up and
comes

back, so I'm not sure if something is being blocked while the phone is
in

my pocket or what.

There's also a slight delay from the time you issue a command like a
swipe

or double tap and the time the next app is located or opened. I know
some

of this is the Bluetooth, but it can get annoying, especially when
using

both a Bluetooth headset and Keyboard. I'm a fast typist, so this
probably doesn't help, either.

Over all, I like this headset. Pairing was a breeze, I just turned it
on

and then went into the Bluetooth portion of the iPhone settings and it
was

paired automatically. I can switch between off and standby or regular
headphones with no problems.

Hi. I have the AfterShokz Bluez, which is the Bluetooth version of
their

sports headphones with mic. You really can hear your surroundings
because the headphones fit just in front of your ear leaving the ear
uncovered. The headphones are attached to a band that fits over your
ears

and goes behind your head. They took a bit to get used to, but they're
actually quite comfortable and fit well even though they're a loose
fit.

The controls are quite simple. There's a answer/end call on the left
ear

that also allows you to use SIRI if you press and hold the button.
There's an identical button on the right ear that starts and pauses
music. The other functions are on the headband, so you'd need to reach
behind your head to access them.

You mean on the headband close to the back of the head? Guess I need to
feel around there more.

I have noticed that the sound wil changed based on how I position my neck
and head. If I lean forward or back, the pressure on the headphones
increases, so the sound will change, not just getting louder, but there
seems to be more bass if I'm playing music. I realize this is objective,
and it doesn't interfere with call volume. These really are neat headphones
but everyone is going to have a different hearing experience based on how
their head and ears are designed.

Not yet, and I doubt if I will. The strap feels like a very short rubber
band that I think would make the head band to tight. I can't even figure
how they fit on, though I can feel two ridges on each wide part of the
strap

it's

just a matter of affixing the strap to the headband or headphones and
stretching them.

Question regarding blind square

2013-07-18 Thread Donna
Hi

I just listened to a demonstration podcast on blind square. I have a couple
questions. I apologize in advance if these questions sound dumb.

1. It was mentioned on the podcast, that blind square uses four square to
obtain points of interest. Do Ihave to have four square installed on my iPhone
and running for blind square to work?

2. It was also mentioned that GPS info is gathered from other GPS apps like
TomTom, Navigon and Apple maps. Do I need to have one of these GPS apps
installed and open and running while blind square is in use?

3. I can't recall from the podcast, Does blind square announce upcoming 4 way
intersections?

5. Can blind square be used on public transportation?

Blind square sounds like the perfect travelling app for my needs.

Thanks in advance.

RE: Question regarding blind square

2013-07-18 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Hi Donna,

1. No, FourSquare is not required for BlindSquare to work.

2. I am not sure about what you said about GPS info being gathered from
other apps. I have Navigon and I guess everybody who has an iPhone 4S or 5
and upgraded to iOS 6 has Apple Maps, but I have never noticed anything
different although I can't remember if I ever had one of these apps running
as well while I was using BlindSquare.

3. BlindSquare will tell you about upcoming intersections, but there is no
information as to whether an intersection is a 4-Way or 3-Way intersection.
The Seeing Eye app is the only iOS GPS app which will give you that sort of
detail. I did read in another post a week or so ago that apparently
BlindSquare might be working on providing this information, but I have not
looked into that myself hence I can only repeat what I heard.

5. Yes, you can have Blindsquare running when you are on a bus and it will
give you cross streets, but if the bus travels quite fast it might lag
behind. It should be OK for most city busses which have frequent stops and
mostly don't build up that much speed in between. Keep in mind, though, that
your phone has to be pointing the way you are going for cross street
announcements to work properly. I find that when I am walking I get the best
results when I have my phone in my belt clip case which I can swivel so that
the phone is in landscape mode so to speak with the top of the phone
pointing the way I am going.

I can't answer Question 4 since it must be so secret that you went straight
from 3 to 5 *smile*.

If you don't necessarily require the ability to enter a route and get
turn-by-turn directions and don't want the yearly or 3-year subscription
which you have to get for the Seeing Eye app to work, then BlindSquare is in
my opinion the best app and worth every Cent. I also bought Ariadne GPS long
before I bought BlindSquare, but I find BlindSquare much better when it
comes to getting information about upcoming cross streets and it's also easy
to set your own points.

Regards,
Sieghard

Re: Plantronics M55

2013-07-18 Thread SSEric
Larry, do you mean that the M 55 does not work with Siri if you try activating
from the ear piece? Because, I am having very good luck with it dictating if I
initiate Siri from the phone. I am also using the iPhone five.

My problem seems to be answering a call. When I press the outer housing, all I
hear is my environment echoing into my ear and not the caller, although the
caller does hear me. Just yesterday, after talking with Plantronics a second
time, I began answering the call by powering it off and then answering the call
on the phone and powering the ear piece on again. This seems to work best,
although it is far from ideal.

Still on the hunt for the perfect Bluetooth device. This might come close for a
single ear piece, considering the weight and comfort alone.

All thanks!

So I have written them back, pointing out that the lightbulb might be turned

hd radio

2013-07-18 Thread Penny Golden
Hi. I downloaded one more of these big radio things. I thought it
was radio.com; but it comes across as hd radio. it's free, but when it
opens, you have to decline something. Nevertheless, it's really
accessible. there are at least 150 inspirational stations; 200
classical ones; and I don't know whatAll else.
I really like the sound. Perhaps it's been covered, recovered, and
discovered a million times. but it's new to me, and I really like it.
It's been running for hours without dropping out or anything strange.

Re: Test messages, I have a question

2013-07-18 Thread Donna
It's possibly a keyboard emoticon. Some people choose to use number, letter,
punctuation marks and other symbol combinations to make facial emotoicons,
rather than use an actual face with the implied expression. Some find the
keyboard strokes for emotoicons easier and faster when typing a message. It's a
personal preference. I prefer to use actual facial emotoicons to get my
feelings across to someone.

RE: Calendar

2013-07-18 Thread Ron Pelletier
Hi Simon,

There is an ADD button that you can flick to or look for at the top, I
believe its on the right.

My suggestion to you would be to buy the VO Calendar which I think would be
better for you. I find it displays your appointments in a more logical
fashion. You can see your whole week on the one screen. A few of us are
using it on the CISG list and several on this list so you wouldn't have any
problems getting loads of help with it.

Bose sound link 2

2013-07-18 Thread Lynn Coats
Hi,
I just purchased this, and have to say, I am very happy with it. The Bluetooth
connectivity is absolutely wonderful. It connects right away. And there is no
sluggishness between the iPhone and the speaker. The base is just perfect. And
the sound well? It's a Bose.
I wanted something that I could put in my family room but yet at the same time,
I didn't want something that sounded terrible either. I can't listen to music
unless it really sounds good. This sounds absolutely wonderful. Yes it is
expensive, but it is worth the price. The speaker is a bit heavy, but I would
expect that from this company. It is of good quality.
The speaker it's self comes in several colors and textures. The cheapest one
obviously is the black nylon finish. The leather finish is more expensive. I
plan to take this whenever I travel. I can fit this in my large backpack or in
my duffel on wheels. It holds up to eight hours of charge time.
I also have the earphones from this company. It's the mobile ones. I'm in love
with those two. I could've bought something cheaper but again, if it doesn't
sound good, I can't listen to it. And, when I'm listening to my country music,
it has to sound good.

Hi Lynn,

First congratulations on your new toy. I have the Bose Sound Dock 10 and
absolutely love it. It has a really great dynamic range and the music comes
out realistic. I also have the Bose head phones that are made for portable
players like the iPhone. I also own an older iPod Nano fifth generation which
has a built in FM radio. The Bose head phones come with both a long and a
short cable. The long cable is a great antenna for the radio. Enjoy the music.

Re: trouble putting together Blueant T2

2013-07-18 Thread Brent Harding
Dad figured out the hook part. I think my ear is just too big because to
pull it far enough to get it over my ear, it comes off. The real problem is
how to get the rubber tip back on. That's the part he couldn't figure out,
much less explaining it to me for when it flies off now and then.

Hi Joanne and Brent,

There is a BlueAnt T2 model with a different ear hook design. This is the
successor to the T1, is designed for high wind noise conditions and
ruggedized, and most reviews I've read by people who have used the Q2 rate
this below their experience with the Q2, especially in wearing comfort.
I've only tried the BlueAnt Q1, which uses the same ear hook design as the
Q2 and Q3, and found that more comfortable (for me) than the Jawbone (older
Icon model). I think the Jawbone models get longer talk times, though.

Sorry I can't help with ear hook replacement suggestions. The BlueAnt web
site has pretty extensive manuals, though, so if you get sighted help with
reading through the user guides, you may be able to get this back in working
order.

HTH. Cheers,

Esther,

Hi there. I was dumb and bought the Blueant T2 earpiece. I'm sure glad I
only paid around $20 for it on 1saleaday, not necessarily because of the

at all. In fact, I asked my dad to help me put it back on, and he didn't
remember how he got it when we first set it up. I used it about 3 times
before I pulled the hook to get it over my ear, just a little too far,
and the tip and hook flew off. How can I get the little rubber tip on
this thing, since it doesn't just slip on? I could maybe get the thing
in my ear without a tip, but the hard speaker thing isn't so
 comfortable.

I love them. I use the tension band because I guess i have a wierd shaped
head. I like the sound quality, and you can raise or lower the volume either
with the volume buttons on the phone, or the volume control on the back of
  the head band.

I can't understand how folks seem to like them so much. I bought them

Now I have got my aftershokz bluetooth headset, and it is a great headset,

The same thing happens if I'm listening to a streaming music station,

All those are different apps by the same developer, and
not free.

  Cheers,

Before anyone gets excited, I'm pretty sure this app is not going to be
your OCR app of choice, but it's a new app from the people who developed the
SayText app, and it's free today. And it's not so much that the app doesn't
have labeled controls, as that the layout and workflow are not particularly
conveniently set out for our use, and there is meant to be some interactive
adjustment steps, although the app tries to automatically detect edges. The
main reason for posting this is so that Sandy and other list members who
explore lots of OCR apps can get this to play with it while it's free.
SayText, although not so easy to use unless you had already mastered freehand
OCR apps with apps like Prizmo, amazingly produced reasonable results at very
low light levels if you managed to hold the iPhone camera flat, steady, and
aligned at the correct height (which is higher than for most OCR apps, since
the app tries to automatically detect the edges of pages.)

This app does handle different languages, and there is an instructions
guide at the very end of the Settings screen (use four finger tap on bottom
half of screen to move there). I havent't really gotten this working at all
yet, but it seems to have more possibilities than the earlier DocScanner app
from these folks. Not sure whether this will be usable.

HTH. Cheers,

Esther

Re: Are there any apps i can get that are like siri?

2013-07-18 Thread Alan Paganelli
Maria, sense I read this, I too have had the app on my iPhone for some time and
had not realized it had gone inaccessible. About a year or so back they did
the same thing by taking an accessible app and making it inaccessible but the
blindness community complained so loudly that they changed it and it then
became accessible again. Now it appears they didn't care or they have new
people in charge and they didn't get word so this will depend on how many
people want it and are willing to go to bat for it. I don't use it as much as
I once did as I have a Bluetooth keyboard I bought back in March and dictation
wasn't used as much. But like I said, the last time the blind spoke up they
did fix it.

In keeping with the subject line here, I had tried what seems like a boat load
full of apps that are suppose to be siri like. I haven't found one yet that
comes anywhere near it. Most get stuff from the internet that has nothing to
do with what you asked for in the first place. Sometimes you just sit there
waiting for a response that never comes. Finally, I just gave up on siri
wannabees and figured I'd just wait until my 2 year agreement is up. Well,
it's been up sense last May and I'm just waiting for the next iPhone to come
out and then I'll get the real deal.

HTH

Re: Plantronics M55

By the way, the first time I spoke with Plantronics support they had me reset
all Radio devices. Yesterday they told me to hold down the power button and

has fixed the problem. It seems when I call myself to test it, things work
fine. It is when I am receiving an actual call and need it to work it does not.

The M55 does not work with siri. The Marque 2 does not work with the phone app

Re: Some Items Lost During A Backup/Restore

2013-07-18 Thread Esther
Hi Ed,

Sieghard has already explained some of the distinctions of what gets saved in
a backup. I'll just state that as far as saving specific working versions of
apps, you have to keep a copy of that app's file on your computer, either by
transferring a version of the app into ITunes while that particular app or
version is still available in the App Store (e.g., by buying the app through
iTunes on your computer, or by having previously set your iTunes preferences so
that app purchases automatically download to your computer.). If the only of an
app like Bluetooth X exists as file on your iPhone or other iOS device, and you
made the purchase from that device, and the app Is no longer in the App Store
due to being removed by Apple for violating their guidelines, then you have to
get a copy of that app saved onto your computer.

In general, you'd do this by connecting your iPhone to your computer and using
the Transfer Purchases option, which copies any app, music, movie, or book
purchase files on your device that are not on your computer into your iTunes
library. This will also replace any old versions of apps with the latest copy
available on your device, and move the older versions to the Trash. If you
want to keep a specific version, savea copy to another location, or make sure
to get the copy that might have been moved into the Trash.

I'm not sure where the Transfer Purchases option will be located for you in
iTunes, since I'm on a Mac, and have refused to update to iTunes 11. Under
iTunes 10, this option to transfer purchases automatically came up when you do
a sync. If you show the sidebar in iTunes 11 (Coomand+Option+S on a Mac, or
Control+S in Windows to toggle sidebar between show and hide), you can select
your attached iPhone or other device in the sidebar, and bring up the Context
menu(VO+Shift+M or Control+Click on a Mac, or right-click mouse in Windows).
Transfer Purchases from your device should be one of the options. You should
also be able to navigate to the File menu on your iTunes menu bar , select
Devices and choose the Transfer Purchases option.

There are also some third party software options that will let you copy
individual apps from the connected device to your.iTunes library. I don't know
what works for Windows, since I think someone mentioned that a popular Windows
choice, iExplorer, is not accessible with JAWS or NVDA. However, PhoneView for
the Mac, and some other options are accessible with VoiceOver. For more
details, check my Mac-access list post in the Mail Archives:
• Re: can we save visual voice mails
http://www.mail-archive.com/mac-access%40mac-access.net/msg18416.html

Finally, I think you can still access previous purchases that are no longer
available in the App Store, but that were not removed for violating guidelines,
as Bluetooth X was (for using private Apple APIs to operate.) I hope so, for
all the people who bought InDaisy, that was expensive and which is no longer
available.

Other apps like Bluetooth X that were removed include its predecessor,
Bluetooth OnOff (appeared April 17, 2012, removed a week later). Bluetooth X
(May 9, 2012) was mentioned on list for those who missed the release of
Bluetooth OnOff. The only app with similar functionality I'm aware of is an
app named Blue Suite ($0.99) by Mirco Bettelini. You could try that one out.

HTH. Cheers,

Esther

iPhone 5 case blowout

2013-07-18 Thread Brent Harbolt
Hi all. I got permission from Raul to post this on here. Please email me off
list at harb...@gmail.com if interested or have any questions. I am a big
collector of iPhone 5 cases. I have accumulated quite a mass of
iPhone 5 cases. I am needing to clear them out now. For this reason, I am having
a huge iPhone 5 case sale. All cases are $5. and buy 2 cases and get a third one
free. I will combine shipping so you pay one price for shipping 2 or more cases.
Shipping will be $4. I am also going to include a free iPhone 5 screen protector
for the first 5 people who buy 2 or more cases. These cases are like new and
barely
used. They are the hybrid cases I normally sell for $15 but because they are not
in a package, I am selling them for a great price. Email me at
harb...@gmail.com
for the colors I have available but I can tell you I have about any and every
color
you could want. Email if interested. Thanks.

I love them. I use the tension band because I guess i have a wierd shaped

with the volume buttons on the phone, or the volume control on the back of
the head band.

 Hi Lisa and others.

Now I have got my aftershokz bluetooth headset, and it is a great headset,
when you need to listen to a gps or taking a call while you are walking.

The only thing is to get them to fit on my little head, but ok it works.

 Cheers Annie.
Den Jul 13, 2013 kl. 12:06 AM skrev Lisa belville

I can start
walking while the phone is in my pocket and the music breaks up and comes

back, so I'm not sure if something is being blocked while the phone is in

 my pocket or what.

There's also a slight delay from the time you issue a command like a
 swipe

or double tap and the time the next app is located or opened. I know
 some

of this is the Bluetooth, but it can get annoying, especially when using
both a Bluetooth headset and Keyboard. I'm a fast typist, so this
 probably doesn't help, either.

Over all, I like this headset. Pairing was a breeze, I just turned it on

and then went into the Bluetooth portion of the iPhone settings and it
 was

paired automatically. I can switch between off and standby or regular
 headphones with no problems.

TV Listings

2013-07-18 Thread Sarah Clark
Is there an app that will show you listings of what is on tv now and in the
next few hours for all of the channels, similar to the preview channel on the
tv? If it matters, I have Time Warner cable.
I don't want to have to select each channel seperately and be sent to a
secondary page in order to see what is on that channel. I'd like a list that
shows all channels and what is currently on them and what is upcoming next
hour, etc.

Radio thermostat [was Re: Experience with Nest Thermostat app accessibility]

Fleksy question

Hello. I just updated to the newest version of Fleksy. I'm wondering whether or
not I'm doing something wrong with setting up favorite. I do a double finger
swipe up and go to settings. Then I go to set up favorites, then add. Then when
I double tap on the contact I want, I Double tap on the info: whether the
iPhone, email, etc. When I do this, I'm immediately brought out of the app and
back onto the home screen. What am I doing wrong? When I go back in to see if
the favorite has been added, it has not been.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

The usual answer is no, but there is one recording app that can record phone

List Recorder is able to record anything coming out from the speaker of the

My computer is running JAWS, and my co-workers sit fairly close to me. Has

I love them. I use the tension band because I guess i have a wierd shaped
head. I like the sound quality, and you can raise or lower the volume either

with the volume buttons on the phone, or the volume control on the back of
the head band.

I can't understand how folks seem to like them so much. I bought them
yesterday and tried them out, they have awful sound quality and don't
exactly sound like normal headphones. When you're somewhere where
there is a lot of traffic, you can't really hear the iPhone or GPS.

 Hi Lisa and others.

Now I have got my aftershokz bluetooth headset, and it is a great headset,
when you need to listen to a gps or taking a call while you are walking.

The only thing is to get them to fit on my little head, but ok it works.

Re: Plantronics M55

2013-07-18 Thread Larry Smith
Eric, yes, that is what happened with the M55 that I purchased. Siri would not
work using the headset button or the home button pressed and held. Siri would
open, but would not perform any commands. Voiceover would not speak at all. The
problem that you described is exactly what was happening with the M165. I could
also turn it off and back on again to answer a call. I had no problems
answering calls on the m55. Today, I purchased the plantronics voyager legend.
I am happy to say that it is working very well!
On Jul 18, 2013, at 8:45 AM, SSEric sseri...@gmail.com wrote:

Larry, do you mean that the M 55 does not work with Siri if you try
activating from the ear piece? Because, I am having very good luck with it

My problem seems to be answering a call. When I press the outer housing, all
I hear is my environment echoing into my ear and not the caller, although the
caller does hear me. Just yesterday, after talking with Plantronics a second
time, I began answering the call by powering it off and then answering the
call on the phone and powering the ear piece on again. This seems to work
best, although it is far from ideal.

Still on the hunt for the perfect Bluetooth device. This might come close for
a single ear piece, considering the weight and comfort alone.

 All thanks!

Hello. I have had the best luck using the Plantronics M 50. I did not try the
M55, however I did try the M155 and m165. I have never had to turn voiceover
off when using any of these headsets. Some have worked better with voiceover
than others, but all were usable. The thing I did not like about the newer
headsets was the extra features that supposedly made it a better headset. Going
more simple and cheaper was the way for me using Vlthe M50.

Re: TV Listings

2013-07-18 Thread Gary Petraccaro
TV Guide will show that, but you will probably have to select channels for
favorites or you will be flipping screens. There's only so much that will fit
on one screen.

  Subject: TV Listings

Is there an app that will show you listings of what is on tv now and in the
next few hours for all of the channels, similar to the preview channel on the
tv? If it matters, I have Time Warner cable.
I don't want to have to select each channel seperately and be sent to a
secondary page in order to see what is on that channel. I'd like a list that
shows all channels and what is currently on them and what is upcoming next
hour, etc.

  Sarah

Appointments and Notifications

2013-07-18 Thread Gary Petraccaro
I may have missed an answer to this question, so appologies. But, how can
you make sure that you have some kind of notification in advance of an
appointment? I set one up once and heard nothing when the time for the
appointment approached.
Thanks.

Re: Battery case charging at the same time as phone?

2013-07-18 Thread Mike Arrigo
At least with the mophie juice pack, when you first connect it, the phone is
charged, then when that's done, the juice pack battery is charged.

it, all of the restaurants are American. Perhaps they have a version for your

Has anyone ever opted out of their contract?

2013-07-18 Thread Ann
Hello, I've been on a sprint to your contract for almost 16 months. I
understand, that they deduct $15 forever month you've been on the contract. I
was wondering, does that go against your credit score? I am trying to relocate
to St. Louis, so that I may take advantage of the blind pension and better
services for the blind.
I'm going to have to go through another credit check whenever I find an
apartment in St. Louis. Do you think this will affect my search for an
apartment. Any information would be most appreciated. Thank you in advance.
