Hi Heather, The Apple TV is not actually a TV as in a big thing with a large LCD screen. It is in fact a rather tiny box, maybe like putting 2 iPhone side by side and twice as thick. You connect the Apple TV to your actual TV or surround sound receiver and it allows you to access certain content.
