You might try this. Go to settings. Then go to reminders. It will tell you to set a default list for reminders. I was having a problem with reminders. For some reason, when I would tell Siri to set a reminder, she would put it in another list. Then I would never get a notification for

Denice, List Recorder is a wonderful app but I would never use it as a straight reminders app. One big reason at least for me is that Siri works great with reminders so I can simply invoke Siri and say remind me to call the doctor tomorrow at 9am. Siri sets the reminder for you and you get
