I have an IPhone 8 with IOS 14.6. Since I updated weeks ago, I no longer
get a swoosh sound when I send a text. I looked in settings under sounds
but there is no separate setting for a sent text. I did double check that
my phone is not on mute this time. This is a very minor problem
It could have gone into “power reserved mode”. Only the time is displayed, and
features like VoiceOver will not work. To get out of “power reserved mode”,
press and hold the friends button for about four seconds and not the usualy

The volume for the headphone jack and the speakers are separate. When
the earbuds are not plugged in, do a two finger swipe up to get
VoiceOver to read the screen and then start holding down your volume up

4S, with ios 7.1 running. For some reason I get no allerts when new mail
should arrive. I think I have everything on, in the notification center as
