When I have priced them before, SAF was the same price as Trango with their standard power... but when you increase to High Power then it's more expensive. And SAF's 5 year warranty is very cool... the bigger question with this type of radio is how quickly can they repair/replace the unit? I

I've had to do an RMA with SAF due to a Lightning Event. Unfortunately, the radio has to go to Latvia for repairs. The turn around was about 2 weeks. I have also done an advanced replacement RMA that took 2 days. Now, we buy extra units instead of advanced replacement. Regards, Chuck On

HI, I have spoken to several other WISP's and when they actually compare the SAME radio from SAF to Trango (same power, same license keys, same dishes, etc.) then Trango is 99% of the time less expensive. Yes, it only has a 2 year warranty compared to 5 years, but that's the only difference.
