They are the sole provider we resell. They merged with voxitas about 2 years ago.
We probably have several dozen accounts with appia. Haven't had any issues with functionaility. they have two platforms. One with register that picks up on port 5080 automatically. The other platform is IP based, but we always use a firewall port forward for the 5060 to 5080 translation. We actually prefer the IP based platform. But both work very well. We just get better ping times from the IP based datacenters. -m >>> "[email protected]" <[email protected]> 02/10/12 5:20 PM >>> Is anyone on the list using appia? They don't yet have a GUI but talk about it being done soon. Just changing ports takes having to communicate with support. So far, every time we come to test something, we're told they need to program that functionality in. We were trying to test a sip to analog gateway to use with pbx's but nothing worked. They found some problems which took a week to resolve saying that they didn't cover that functionality. Now with sipx, they can't send to me on port 5080 yet I thought someone here mentioned using them and they work fine. The support person is wonderful to work with but it's going on three weeks I believe now since we contacted them and have been trying to test. Just wondering. _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users/
