The building doesn't require any sprinklers at all. I've yet to see a protected mini-warehouse facility, even those built to be occupied for business purposes adjacent to storage units. If there's still a level of discomfort either pass on the job or put disclaimers on the drawings and bid stating that the sprinkler system does not comply with the intent of XYZ Code and Standards for a fully sprinkled facility and that you as the designer/installer will not guarantee it's function for the protection of the building, it's contents or occupants, blah, blah blah.....
