Anyway, Queenie is usually the fireman and she was not at her post! On the buffer beams, wouldn't it be easy to use two small flat head wood screws? The holes could be counter sunk so the the heads would be flush with the buffer beam and the slots easily filled. You could still use two part epoxy for additional strength. Disciplined Geoff.
