But drawing lines. I have always believed that you cannot codify reality (or the subjects that inquiring minds want to peruse).
On that note, I discovered that part of my problem with the Philly steaming issue was a result of "stiction". The force, I believe, required to unstick an O-ring. Turns out that shortly after the Summer Steamup, I decided to "renew" my piston seals. So I replaced the O-rings. Turns out one was so oversize in section that it filled the groove completely, allowing no rotation on movement. Replacing this O-ring with a correct one improved the steaming substantially ! I'm almost there. I have some issues with the fire and have been trying suggestions from you folks with some success. So I was pleased to see Sir Geoff's comments about wick materials, lengths and positioning.
