The Twin Turbo works extremely well in the lower slots. IMS spent some time fixing compatibility issues with the Twin Turbo in the lower slots. The Ult. Rez. is junk in the lower slots (must disable the main driver that provides acceleration or the machine freezes whenever you change resolution or color depth) but the Twin Turbo is great, albeit slower than the Ult. Rez.
The Acard ATA cards are very well behaved in the lower slots as well, so if you get frustrated wtih the slot dance, consider an Acard ATA controller to replace the Sonnet junk.
