Hi Dan, I just wanted to provide an update on my little situation with the 19" monitor that went out a few months ago.
So after it began working again on another tower, I hooked it up my main machine again yesterday morning. So it seems to have began running just fine since then. Until tonight anyhow. After turning on my computer upon getting home about 5pm, using it for an hour or so, then I shut the monitor off while watching the debate and a one hour movie. So tonight I came back to the computer to get a few more things done and turned the monitor back on. It stayed on for about a minute then went black. Bummer, maybe it is on it's last legs afterall. Turned power button off then on, off, on. Nothing but black screen. Then I made the all too famous move when all else fails. I gave it a slap. Ha! Got the picture back. Wild. I guess only time will tell once again if it will keep working, but just maybe this means I simply have a loose connection inside. So Dan, make sure to try giving it a gentle but firm slap, it just might work. Now I don't condone violence but mine responded to a hit on the left side. If it makes you feel better, you can say your sorry afterwards. Dave -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
