In cases such as this it's often helpful to actually download the raw data before making such claims. There are plenty of cases where something produces bad data. This is more or less correct. Your server is sending a page with a 302 code in the header. This is how the HTTP client knows to handle it. It also produces an HTML page in case a person actually sees it. Bear in mind that when you do redirects you're still generating hits on your web server. That HTML 302 page is still being sent across the wire.
