And I fall somewhere in the middle.  Like Nancy, when I design in advance
of tablet weaving I do it with pencils and graph paper.  But, having spent
15 years explaining the variables of TW to my programmer husband, I'm also
deeply interested in the development of algorithms that can facilitate the
development of a really good TW designing program.  I know Bonnie's got the
structural background to do a great job with this and, while I can't
contribute to the technical discussion, I will nevertheless
enthusiastically follow any developments discussed in "public"!

Too bad about the proprietary source code, though.  In my Perfect Vision of
the future, open source weaving design programs feature prominently. ;>
