I'm wanting to make key fobs from a continuous band cut into segments.
These have all been great ideas for finishing, but I was wondering if anyone
knows where to find or how to fashion metal clamp on rectangular tips like
you would find on a manufactured web belt end? I think that would make a
great finish to these fobs lending a little bit of weight and style.
I've checked craft store jewelry making departments, and fabric stores, and
no luck. They have some belt combo pieces, but they are far to wide and
large. The band is very fine silk, and only 1/2 inch wide.
Thanks,
john

That's exactly how my wife finishes her bands. She usually puts in three
string loops to weave the tag end back in.
