Hi all, I'm in a similar position. I've sent in my resume for a couple of positions for which I think I am very qualified. One of them has an online tracker that allows you to see where you are in the process. (I've been at Hiring Manager Review for three weeks ...). One of them seems to be a black hole.
Question: Should I call the potential employers and ask where things stand? Having been on the hiring side of the desk, I can see where this would show some strong interest on the part of the applicant. On the other hand, it could be construed as desperation. And I don't know that I would be able to contact the hiring manager directly in any case. What would you do? (And in asking this I am not in any way implying that Lisa did anything incorrect!)
