As an aside for the tinkerers: One could replace step 1) with one of the many programs which can prepare a standard "playlist" file up to some user-specified limit. I remember using MusicMatch some years ago and asking it to do things like "give me two hours of loud fast industrial or eclectic music, but no banjos". From that, it created a playlist which you could save. Trip
