I found a card that works, I found a way to get the music onto the card. I was able to get the music to play via the Treo into my car stereo, but here is the final killer: It kills the usefulness of the Treo as a phone when doing this. At least, it does so when using a GSM Treo. The problem is the "GSM Noise" through nearby speakers that happens when a GSM phone is actively communicating, like when I'm using the phone... Plus plugging something into the headset jack disables the use of a BT headset. And it's just not feasible to unplug the jack when a call comes in and then re-plug back in when the call is over. If this were a CDMA unit, I could use Seidio's 2-in-1 hybrid connector, which has a microphone in the cord and just use my car stereo as the hands-free speaker. But with a GSM phone, I can't hear anything over the noise. It's not a complete loss. For one thing, now I know. If I ever switch back to Verizon Wireless, I can try again.
