There is no comparison because the 'X' was a measurement of the transaction speed, not the clock speed. There are several layers between clock speed and transaction speed. Ted was trying to measure the real-world, business needs as opposed to the propeller-head ones which MHZ measures :) My own 2 cents and a pickle.
