Again, *please search the archives for these discussions*.

[Unsubscribed user should be added in reply-to field]

You can sort through all which seem relevent, but don't hold your
breath. In the meantime, Michael Adams, Brian, Barbara & others that
have been here for some time offer some valid suggestions; primarily to
deal with it and assist when you can. Note: I also very much support
that *all* non-subscribed posts include either [moderated] or
[non-subscribed] in the subject header (see the archives on this issue).
At least that will allow users (like myself) that use gmane.org to
easily identify that the poster is not subscribed. Unfortunately, and
despite repeated requests to OOo and the related issuezilla issues that
has not happened, and is not likely to happen in the near future.

In the interim, go with the flow, realize that the problem exists, and
try to recognize an unsubscribed post & assist if you can. I have to
admit that I typically do not reply to an unsubscribed poster unless I
am in the mood to do so, and even then I include a disclaimer for the
poster to respond to me directly. Sometimes this works, sometimes it
doesn't, but hey, when it doesn't it's generally OK with me as the
responder sometimes is truely lost & then I don't mind providing
off-list help.

Be happy, and be generous with your time & knowledge; afterall, we all
get some pretty awsome software for free & some of the 'pay it forward'
in doing that is to help other users when/if we can. Those who can't
code & contribute to the project :-)
