Perhaps, or because, I didn't think there would be any difference between VW engine bays I forged ahead. The engine was assembled by me and a good friend and the sheet metal had the edge flanges all around, unmodified by me or the friend. I did, however, have j-tubes in place of the heater boxes. :o)
