I worked on my daughter's Cobalt. Not the engine though, always ran great, even after it was totaled when parked. :-( I'm still getting my Type I engine back together after some valve stems nearly gave way. Good thing I check my gaps regularly. Just need to weld my heater boxes and wait for the temp to go above 30 °F. My daily driver is a 2013 Subaru Impreza, my fourth Suburu. If my VW engine wasn't so low-mileage I'd plop a subbie in there for sure. Though I'd like to put the engine in front and keep the all-wheel drive. I don't know if that would come close to fitting, but since it's just a dream it doesn't really matter. If you have a second, check out my geocities page from back in the day. http://www.geocities.ws/dean_jnsn/ -Dean '71 Super Beetle -- Visit the VintagVW archives at http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "VintagVW - Air Cooled Volkswagen Discussion List" group.
