I think you are missing one last step. Make sure in the list of voices, it doesn’t say “download” which would mean the voice is not downloaded. Once confirmed that the voice is downloaded double tap on the name and double tap again on the name. You will have to double tap on the name which appears just left of the option “speak sample.” Again, the voice name you are double tapping on would have “speak sample” option if you swipe right from the place double tapping where would change the voice to the desired one. Please try this. And let us know how it goes.
