Hi Kate, When my mother-in-law came to live with us she had a hearing problem, which she had for many years. I had introduced her to a phone for the hearing impaired that had a screen / small monitor that she could read what the other party was saying. At first she was reluctant, but after trying and getting used to it and being able to communicate with the outside world she embraced it and really enjoyed the new found freedom it gave her. Hopefully your grandmother will find the same enjoyment and freedoms this iPhone can provide. Good luck and go gramma!
