Just a short note from the land down under.
Believe me when I say we are just as sick of hearing about old Bill and his
fling as you guys are.
I just don't understand the problem. Yes he lied, well good on him. Its
exactly the same answer to the question, "Did you have and affair" that I
believe every single married man in this world would say. The question
should never have been asked and because it was I believe that this not the
affair has reduced the respect and integrity of the Presidents public office.
Lets face it. If the President of the USA gets into trouble because of a
hetrosexual side fling then the old USofA is nothing if not predictable.
Tens of thousand of people a day do the same, have a laugh or cry and a
beer or coffee and get on with life.
For all those who are so bent on getting the truth. Do you know that not
only do you demeen the office of the President but you are humiliating and
publicly distroying the career and family life of his wife and daughter.
Believe me, on the other side of the world, for instance France. If you
don't have at least one mistress your considered weird.
The puritans would say that a man that does these things is untrustworthy I
say it a predictable outcome of the total domination and sensationalism of
the media. Lest face it I know for a fact 3 men and 1 women in my office
alone are having affair on the side and I can tell you they won't have to
say sorry to the nation.
