Yes. The browsers will find the site without the http as long as the
www.---.com is typed correctly. The most effective copywriting for print is
often that which is written the same way as we talk. And when people speak
of a URL, don't they usually just say, "www....." or simply "------.com"?
No one ever says h t t p colon slash slash www......"
