Okay, I have to weigh in here ;-)
I see no point in prefacing a domain name with http:// in any situation.
Current browsers do not require it, and most people recognize the 'dub dub
dub' - www - for what it is. And it just looks better that way. Frank, why
do you feel that http:// is necessary in some situations and not others?
