For the most part I agree with Larry. I don't know about the virtues of
kernel
2.4 and don't know about the difficulties Netraverse has adopting it,
but I feel
that they have a qualtity product and if it takes time to adopt a higher
kernel
then I will wait.

With all of the complaints of Windows being rush out the door and GPF's
I am surprised that so many want a tiny company to emulate an industry
giant right down to the half baked software.

I also feel that Netraverse can charge whatever they want and whatever the
maeket will stand. Businesses are there to generate income. That is the
bottom line. If a person doesn't like the fee, they can go to VMWare.

I just hope Netraverse keeps going the way they are. Win4Lin is a fantastic
product, backed by a really good company. I registered version 2 and figured
I would have to paid an upgrade fee for version 3. Afterall, that is the
standard practice elsewhere. As you can imagine, I was very pleased to see
that for me it is a free upgrade. I know that version 4 will be charged, but
the way I see it, if you like the product, you should have no problems
supporting
the company.
