Blue Hills Trail report...

The entire trail system was groomed today (Friday, March 8) by rolling the trail while also setting a striding lane.   The freshly rolled snow from Thursday's 4 inch snowfall today (Friday) created slow skating due to the soft base.  The newly tracked striding lane appeared to be in good shape.  Conditions should improve as the base sets up (it all depends on tonight's weather surprise).   The base is adequate throughout -- leave your rock skis at home.
