The idea is good There is probably some difficulty with rules etc.
But I had a thought that would allow easy implementation and no issue with rules. Really what is required here is the ability to get a task before leaving the ground (yes there are circumstances where it does change in the air - but I believe these are usually just which one of the predefined)... so why not just publish it to any URL. Then that URL can be entered into XCSoar (probably just once, in your config, so you can just press one button on the line which says "Update task"). It would require a standard format for the task.
