Greetings to Anthony and all

Death itself does not concern me, but that very moment before so does. How can
one be concerned with death, when death itself is the finallity? I have never
stopped thinking over the years that facing life-threatening danger may be my
very own personal salvation. Dualistically speaking, flowing with that danger
whether I live or die will be akin to something like a drop of water finally
rejoining the greater body of the waterfall...to finally rejoin with Buddha as
all do/did before existence in any form. But the teachings never say anything
about throwing one's life away in a wasteful manner when faced with the knife
or bullet (or worse), for life is precious...as precious as the coming out of
the seedling from its underground chambers and into the sunlight. Although
still with much to learn, I can't imagine for the moment that the great prince
would want me (or anyone else for that matter) to waste my life away to no
purpose or, wisdom. There are
those who fear death, and others who even fear life itself. Yet, apparently
all are emptiness...as the seedling that comes out into the sunlight

Buddha be praised

JM,

Can you see jumping from the top of a nine story building and getting killed is
an act of 'emptiness'?
