I have a Farallon PDS ethernet card in my Mac SE and with the card in
the computer, it seems to be locking up. Furthermore, the utility on
the driver disk seems not to detect a plugged in ethernet cable, and I
have the switch on the back set to 'TP'(twisted-pair). Anyone know
what causes
You can take it all apart and clean everything. It's not too difficult.
Not what I'd call an easy fix though.

Hi all,
does anyone know of any CDROM that would work with a Mac SE, I want to
upgrade it to system 7.5.5, but I have the OS on a CD, I could copy the
CD to my Power Center Pro and hook it up to the Mac SE using the Printer
ports and apple talk I think, will try, but a CD would be nice ;-)

I figured it out, the card in my SE/30 is a Radius Pivot card, although,
I have no idea what it does, it apparently is some kind of video card,
but there is no external connector to connect an external monitor and hte
one in my SE/30 only does black or white, right?

Argh, I always get system error on shutdown but just turn it off, its an

Well, I broke a pin off the SCSI connector and am sending it for repair
in oregon so I'll have to wait for it to get back to work on the soudn
