The Legacy Home Statistics will give you the total Individuals in your db.
If you look in Name List sorted by RIN # and click Last to find highest
RIN used and it is much higher than total Individuals just tag all with

I too have been importing with the Master source such a Baden, Belgium
and Lorraine(France). I always thought it was an improper use of Source
but just an easy way to separate them off by where they Immigrated from. I
always thought I could easily delete this Location as a source per
I used Access to delete unwanted source(s) from tblSR. This, however left me
with all source detail on no source. Fortunately Legacy's File Maintenance /
Check Repair removed the orphaned source detail. Cory this should work for
you too.

your dupes and it worked great but I wanted to be sure it would do no harm
so I tried it on my main db (a copy) hoping it would do nothing since I
didn't have your problem. It showed me 19 picture files it wanted to
citations to the ghost
MRIN or I can remove the marriage link.
Have you tried File Maintenence / Master Lists Cleanup and under remove

You could also do search and replace using a text editor on a GEDcom file.
This way you would still have only one picture (now jpg).
Either way do so on a copy of your program and check results carefully.

I have a dozen or so families where 2 or 3 siblings are bold, being in
direct line.
When you get far back one sibling could be 8th Great-Grandparent and another
9th or 10th Great-Grandparent. In one case ... Oh! But that calls for a

A couple years back I noticed a Relationship Indicator problem (or not).
I showed a 9th Great-Grandfather in Family View. When I clicked on his
parents I got a 8th Great-Granduncle married to a 10th Great-Grandmother.
The 8th Great-Granduncle was also a 10th Great-Grandfather but his brother
). More often I would have
them with a compound Given name Elizabeth Isabelle and compound Surnames
Garnier Grenier.
Where can I find alternate names in Access?

Thank you Susan and Wendy for the helpful suggestions regarding my first
question. I think I will add married names to women married after about
1850. In earlier times under French-Canadian and German customs women kept
their maiden names.
Would a Mrs prefix be appropriate with married names?
I would also combine to one source but if you insist:
From View / Master Lists / Source select the existing part 1, Edit / Change
part 1 to part 2 / Save / nest select option #2 (Apply changes to a NEW
copy). Now you have 2 sources part 1 and part 2.

What you describe is consistent for me. If cursor stops on a child I first
get small spouse list momentarily, then the second larger box. If I then
move cursor slightly within the child box the first box reappears along with
the second box.

Thanks for the reply. Regarding ZipGenius: A cousin has ZipGenius and
when I sent him a zip multimedia to go with a zip backup that he
restored on his, I instructed him to copy both zip files to
C:\Legacy\data. I told him to Extract multimedia to C: but it seems
ZipGenius can only
