Are you mindful of the increased load/demand on the power grid there? I know Ohio is more than half coal and last night I looked up that Kentucky was 92% coal. So in the electric world we're taking fossil fuels shipped to the power plant and then generating power (losing efficiency here) and then delivering it to the car. Storing it is also inefficient.
