The possibility of a quantum consciousness is something that at least should be 
entertained not derided. And to put forth and attempt to defend a theory such 
as they have done should be admired, even if it eventually falls apart which it 
hasn’t (yet) other good things can come from it.

IMO Matt should have two sets of brain computation numbers, one for neuron 
based and one microtubule based.

What Hameroff and Penrose think is pretty poor evidence.
Remember that Penrose is the one who argued that the
human ability to intuit mathematical truths was evidence
that humans had no Godel sentence - and so the human
brain could not possibly be simulated on a machine.
If you can't spot the flaw in that argument, any other
things you think should be regarded with suspicion.
