I have to take exception to this statement. In my experiences in IT, the more moronic the person, the more likely they are to complain. The louder the moronic complain, the more likely the error is because they are idiots. It's impossible to always program to the lowest common denominator. If you even try, you'll end up with an application that's essentially useless to everyone, including the morons. It's better to try and accommodate your intended target users and let the lowest of the low go about their business. In the case Treking illustrated, this person obviously has no idea how to use the device. Most likely problems he's encountering are related to some completely separate failure, like the ability to charge the phone or find the menu button. Idiots and morons are with us forever.
