EAC is not common.  its a small, niche app.  it doesn't add comp tags
either.  so what do those users do?  they typically add one or the
other, or they use ONLY apps which detect artist mismatches as comps
and live with it.  fine by me, i've never argued for that feature to be
removed.

the point is that WMP, winamp, itunes, and many other apps, accounting
for well over 90% of the marketshare, do assign AA or comp tags at rip.
