Bulb part numbers:

While researching LED cluster bulb replacements for tail/turn/backup/
and brake light bulbs, came across this link for a bulb number finder
website by make, model, and year:

Trying to sell my E36 factory roofrack and roof box to someone who is asking
about the availability of bike carriers for the crossbars. One of his bikes is
a tandem, so he's interested in a tray type mount with a longer tray.

anyone BTDT? any aftermarket parts compatible (I know Yakima aren't)

Thanks,

What shape are the tubes on that factory roofrack? I've never seen
one.

Typically Thule uses square tubing and Yakima uses round tubing. I
know I've seen tandem bike carriers from Thule in the past.

Carlos. (needs an E36 roof rack btw) :-)

Speaking as someone who spends way too much time on things
bike-related, IMO, you can't beat Rocky Mount for sturdiness, quality,
and price. Their bike carriers fit both round and rectangular cross
bars, and you can even choose a couple of colors, if black doesn't do
it for you.

Yakima is now making a slick, but somewhat complicated, tandem carrier
that pivots out, allowing the bike to be loaded a lot easier. I saw
one recently, and it looked like the clips would allow it to fit either
shape crossbar.

W00t?

Bentley E30 manual, page 13-32:

"Installation is the reverse of removal. Lubricate the inner surface
of the axle nut with oil. Torque the inner CV joint internal-hex-head
bolts to 58 to 63 Nm (42 to 46 ft. lb.). Torque the axle nut to 195
to 210 Nm (144 to 155 ft. lb.) and install a new lockplate."

It is curious that it is not in the table at the end of the chapter,
but it is there.

It's 58-63 Nm (42-46 ft.lb) - Bentley: Ch 13 page 32

Weather here (SF Bay Area) on Saturday was nice so my
son and I put the
LS
into the e30. But try as we might we could not find in
Bentley a torque
value for the half shaft bolts into the diff output
flanges. We found
an
old article from the web that indicated 42ft-lbs for
an E30 M3. Is this
good for the std E30 (325i) also?

Gents,

Will the door panel of an E30 M3 fit the door of a std E30 coupe? The panel
I'm thinking of is the one with the recessed cloth and the BMW M colors in
a pattern of broken hash marks running through it.

Yes.

The Sport Evo cloth?

If so I suspect they're quite pricey.
