Ha ha, this thread is done when Rob finally tires of the noises we make.
So far, he's been as guilty as the rest of us WRT beating this topic
into the ground. :)

BMW content: my e39 528 is leaking power steering fluid out slowly now.
I've still never owned a BMW that didn't have to leak *something* within
a year of my owning it.

Drop some Vernors in it. Should seal it right up. :-)

I was born in Western PA, grew up in Texas, and now live in Worcester MA
(Wooster, as someone already discovered). As a result, I get very confused
about certain things around here...

I drink from a water fountain, not to be confused with a fountain, which
although it also contains water probably also has lots of pennies other
loose change sitting at the bottom. A bubbler is the thing on the end of the
hose in your bait bucket that keeps the shrimp alive...

Rubber bands are what keep your newspaper rolled up until you get it in the
morning, elastics are often sewn into garmets.

Subs were the sandwich I remember, often enjoyed while drinking a milkshake.
After lunch we would get an icecream cone with sprinkles on it (Jimmies....
heh... sorry).

In Texas we never had a basement, although in PA we did... and beer was
purchased in 7-11s or the local grocery store. Liquor stores were for the
hard stuff.

And now, for a Boston navigation guide...

"The geographical center of Boston is in Roxbury. Due north of the
center we find the South End. This is not to be confused with South
Boston which lies directly east from the South End. North of the South
End is East Boston and southwest of East Boston is the North End."

Selling my Mom's car . . . after 8 very reliable years she wanted a change.

1993 BMW 325iA 4 door sedan, 95500 miles, Alpine white with Black leather,
Automatic Transmission, AM-FM Cassette, Power locks and windows, Cold AC,
Ski Bag

The interior is as new. The last owner of this car, my Mom, drove it for the
past 8 years with sheepskin seat covers installed and Weathertech floor
mats. There is no wear on the seats, and the carpets show no wear. Included
are the original BMW floor mats in excellent condition.

Exterior is very clean. There has been some minor paint work from a minor
parking lot incident a few years back. The car has had 2x annual
professional details, so the paint has lots of luster and shine. Note that
the near the front center grille there is a small dent.

Mechanically the car needs nothing. All service records are provided. The
car has had regular oil services with Valvoline oil. Antifreeze has been
flushed every two years.

Presently the car has 4 almost new Dunlop Snow Tires and comes with 4 almost
new summer tires.

Asking Price $7650.00

Pictures can be seen on www.VSR1.com shortly . .or email me for a
detailed zip file of images. The car can be seen in Bow, NH.

Regrettably, I am selling my 535. I offered it around to a couple of the
other newsgroups I'm on but I guess everyone is lusting after the "real
M3". Anyway, here is the link to the auction and a lot of info on what is
new on the car. Probably be easier to say what is old!

We are moving to Idaho and I have 4 cars right now. I'd like to cut it
down to 2. Anyone interested in a great 1983 300TD (turbodiesel wagon).

Maro would have had better luck if he noticed that it's spelled
Worcester (no 'h'). Also, it's Wuh-stah, not Wooster.

- Paul - ...originally from Wuh-stah... a good place to be from. :)

Sorry, you are right, but try as I might, I can't do the accent right...
but it is still closer than "Wor-kes-ter" or "Wor-chester".

Best yet, Dennis.

I have to add, Billerica (B'ricka).

Jon<----parks a BMW (Bimmah) in Newton (New'on)

Hah! I worked in a "spa" (pronounced "spahhhh")
and sold "tonic"
("tahwwnick") back in college. What's amazing
about Greater Boston is that
the ahcksent will vary, discernibly, depending on
whether one is from
Southie (South Boston), the South End (of
Boston), Revere (Reveeahh),
Medford (Meffa), Somerville (Slumerville), 02139
Cambridge (the people's
republic), Cambridgeport (not so much the
people's republic), and even more
distant places, like Woburn (Woooburn) or New
Hampshah.

Do you drink from a bubbler (bubblah) or a cooler
or water fountain? Use an
elastic or rubber band? Do you order a grinder,
sub, hoagie or sandwich on
a bulkie? Use a remote or clicker to change
channels? Buy your beer
(beeah) at the liquor store or packie? Sip your
milkshake or frappe?
Jimmies or sprinkles on your ice cream? Store
stuff in your cellar or
basement?

All of the above will vary from TOWN to TOWN.
Welcome to Boston. Now go
home!

Wicked pissah!

Vty,

--Dennis

How, what parts of the battery are pried off to check the water level?
