You can't go wrong with either one. The differences are a matter of personal preference more than real performance you might see in everyday driving. Besides, neither tire will last very long, so you'll get to try the other one if you don't like the current one. --Andre ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 15 Apr 2005 19:47:00 -0400 From: "m3 drvr" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Tire purchase Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Andre, Thanks again...I got good information from many people. It swings about every 1/2 hr. Last time I bought tires I went to the dealer to buy PS2s after driving a student's M3 on the track. They were out of stock, so I went with Toyos since they were available and I've had good results with them in the past. The Toyos have very reliable wet and dry performance. Probably 90-95% of the Goodyears, and they tend to run about 160 a corner installed. If you don't drive a lot of miles a year (Less than 15k), I'd spring for the PS2s or F1s. I budget for a set of ties a year, so the extra bit doesn't sting as much. Check EBay. Its buyer beware with tires but there are bargains if you shop cautiously and can nail a bid in the last few seconds before the auction closes. I just got a set of four nearly new Bridgestone RE750 on Motorsport forged wheels (same as LTW wheel w/out "BMW" on the face), the tires have less than 1/32 wear, rims were new with the tires. Cost was less than the tires or wheels alone would have been.
