If I just loosen the bolts and cut out the bushings from the subframe bushings will the axle carrier then fall off the chassis or does the bushing outer cylinder compress against the chassis and carrier holding the two in place? This saves me from having to remove the rear control arms and having to cut through the thick carrier. The diff and drive shaft are of course already gone. Cutting vertically through the bushings will release the rear sub frame from the car.
