I don't think anyone would object as long as it's sort of on topic (although it isn't my list so don't quote me). ;-) -- Jamie Howton 2006 M Roadster 2004 645Ci 1995 M3 Hampshire, IL ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 5 Dec 2006 22:51:24 +0000 (UTC) From: "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Subject: Re: Car For Sale Ad? Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> This is a general discussion group about BMWs, so buying and selling them is part of the typical dialog. Be advised that people don't often just drop into the list to sell a car then disappear. There are true social bonds across the list, and people trust fellow members that they have gotten to know. As a random name you might not get much response unless you have an interesting specimen. There are also boards at Roadfly.com where there's a higher commerce to talk ratio (IMHO). Also bastardized cars are often ridiculed (gull wing doors?) Electrical stuff gets pretty weird when batteries don't perform up to par, especially in the extreme conditions of the cold temps you're experiencing. Other than that, I have no idea. :-P However, although you are getting fuel, the fuel pump could be going bad too. I spent 4 days with a friend on his Jeep diagnosing a similar condition. If we cranked it for the normal interval, it wouldn't start, but after cranking it for longer, it would start to speed up and then finally fire...but then die 4 seconds later. Turns out it was the fuel pump after all, after we changed the fuel filter and crank sensor. Welcome back. Thanks. I was taking a break, working on some fun projects and seeing what it was like to haunt some of the BMW forums. So many of my forum posts seem to have disappeared into the noise, I can't tell if anyone actually noticed. :) -John '96 318is ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 05 Dec 2006 21:52:23 -0500 From: Joseph Lerner <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected] Subject: FS 2004 M3 Coupe Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> My 2004 Imola red/imola red M3 is for sale. 20,300 miles. 6 speed.
