Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> See that hole on one side of the foglight opening in the bumper cover? Stick a screwdriver in there and push. There's a spring-loaded clip that will pop the light out. - Rob ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kevin Jay (Mr.Fabulous)" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: [UUC] <E36> foglight removal? > > Apparently I'm not smart enough to figure out how to get the foglights out of > this car. Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Kevin, If they are the same ones that are in the e36 M3, here's the secret instructions: The inner side of the light has a flat spring clip which clicks to lock in the unit. The outer side has a plastic pivot attachment. So, when you release it, it comes out towards the outer side Stick a thin flat blade screwdriver (be careful) in at the inner side of the light, near the top and find the spring. Push in GENTLY to free it up, and pop the light assembly out. r/jpg -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Kevin Jay (Mr.Fabulous) Sent: Tuesday, December 19, 2006 1:07 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [UUC] <E36> foglight removal? The door panel to be removed has the side air bags. Anyone know where the relays are for these passenger side bags? -Kevin ---------------------------------------------------------------- This e-mail communication is confidential and is intended only for the individual(s) or entity named above and others who have been specifically authorized to receive it. You can remove the panel without disturbing the bags. If you're worried about it, just disconnect the battery. There are no relays. The SRS control module is below the rear seat, in the centre, however if you unplug it with the battery connected, you will set faults. And if you disconnect the battery, there's no need to unplug it.
