Try searching the web for "autos warehouse portugal" there are a bunch of links and references on this event out there. 180 cars covered with dust, very cool cars. All kinds of speculation as to how they got there and who they belong to. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Stan Jackson Jr. Sent: Tuesday, February 06, 2007 9:18 PM To: [email protected] Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [UUC] FW: Something for everyone Probably cool, but a busted link ... Unfortunately, for whatever reason, the web links seem to have mostly been shut down. Here are the three I found: http://209.85.165.104/search?q=cache:3AXU1qc6n3MJ:news.windingroad.com/etc/i f-you-welded-a-portugese-warehouse-shut-with-180-classics-inside-wed-like-a- word-with-you/+autos+warehouse+portugal&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=us http://jalopnik.com/cars/retro/open-sesame-warehouse-opening-in-portugal-rev eals-forgotten-collection-231918.php http://209.85.165.104/search?q=cache:MmWw2L4ZNLIJ:jalopnik.com/photogallery/ retro/+autos+warehouse+portugal&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=3&gl=us And here is one possible reason for the disappearance of the links (from the 2nd link): Drezio says: "After a bit of searching through some portuguese classic cars forums, i came up empty. "Interclassicos" is the classic car trader who posted this finding on its webpage, but that has been removed, apparently because of too much speculation and pressure to reveal the location of the warehouse. I found a few more pictures including one outside where a tower was ready to take an Austin Cooper S (the reason for the opening of the warehouse, apparently). The only explanation was (roughly translated): "The owner of these cars is a collector who requested anonymity. They are all documented and were all bought in the 80s, and in the early 90s the warehouse was welded shut." Anyway, i really doubt they're still there, since the finding was at least over a month ago... Still impressive..." ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 06 Feb 2007 18:19:23 -0800 From: bbarry <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "[uucdigest]" <[email protected]>, bmw digest <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: fault code P0155 Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> What does fault code P0155 indicate? OBDCOM lists it as "O2 heater circuit Bank 2 sensor 1" When I monitor those sensors, they are all working. What is not happening is I am not getting fuel correction for bank 2. Any ideas? What color wires to test for what voltages? Can this be bypassed? The sensors are only a couple of years old. I need to get this corrected before taking 'Jack to the dyno next week, and don't want to have to buy a new O2 sensor (again). tia, Barry ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 7 Feb 2007 12:57:22 -0800 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [email protected] Subject: G5 Coolant? Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I recall someone once mentioning Prestone G5 anti-freeze/coolant as being an acceptible substitute for BMW factory coolant, but I've been unable to find it. I looked here: http://www.prestone.com/products/antifreezeCoolant.php None of the listed products mentions G5. Do I have the right brand? What should I be looking for?
